We are overwhelmed by the response from the community to our new 6th Form which opened earlier this week. Comfortably surpassing all expectations, we opened with a strong cohort of around 50 students. Our chair of Governors, Mike Grabiner explained, “We are delighted by the response from the community for our first 6th Form year group and we are very happy indeed by the high calibre of students that have started. Students have joined us from independent schools, state schools and other Jewish schools. And, in common with the main school, students have been attracted from a broad spectrum of traditions.” Mr Grabiner continues, ‘I think students are very keen on what we have to offer. Small class sizes during the crucial A-Level period is a tangible benefit and ensures that every student enjoys individual attention from the teacher. Put this together with state of the art facilities and excellent educators – including Patrick Moriarty, former Head of 6th Form at Haberdashers’ Girls’ – and it is easy to see why the response has been so positive.”
To find out more, we will be holding a 6th Form Open Evening on Thursday 22nd November. For more information and to register your attendance, go to the JCoSS 6th Form
