Trip to Poland

Year 13 visited Poland last week for a very emotional but worthwhile trip. As part of the journey they visited the Warsaw Zoo, learning about the story of the Zookeeper who sheltered and saved Jews during the Shoah, spent time at Triblinka learning and remembering the 900,000 Jews who were murdered there, including the great grandparents of 2 members of the group and spent their evenings learning, eating and singing, including one evening at the building which once housed the Chachamei Lublin Yeshiva.
