Last night 6 JCoSS students were celebrated at the Arts Depot for winning prestigious Jack Petchey awards. This is a new initiative for us at JCoSS and we are delighted to participate and to be able to share in the successes not only of our students but also students in the Borough of Barnet. Award winners from our school were awarded £300 to spend on an initiative. Projects included a sheltered area in the playground to protect students from the sun, a bird nesting box with a viewing camera, Uncle Doovey ice-cream van, mounted celebratory photos of school events to decorate the newly renovated 6^th form study area and a memorial bench. We are so proud of our  winners and cannot wait to see more student leaders celebrated next year. We were also thrilled that 2 of Ms Harrell’s dance group Annie and Lily performed their beautiful dance routine. Kol Hakavod to everyone and to our wonderful parents and friends who helped celebrate the achievements of our Y7 students Jacob and Robyn, and Y12 students Reece, Lili, Zachy and Megan.
