A number of male staff at JCoSS are relieved to see the end of November arrive as they can now shave off their moustaches. Movember is a publicity event to raise awareness of men’s health, in particular Prostate Cancer. The very appropriate slogan that is used to promote the event is “Changing the face of men’s health”.

Movember, a world-wide event, raises millions of pounds each year to fund research into improving diagnoses and finding a solution for Prostate Cancer.
