Year 11 Results

JCoSS is delighted to celebrate the achievements of its Year 11 students following the publication of GCSE and Vocational qualification results.

JCoSS students have much to celebrate today, having achieved another superb set of GCSE and Vocational results. Their achievements demonstrate not only academic excellence but also the determination and perseverance that our students have shown throughout their studies. This year, 48%, nearly half of all grades, were awarded a Grade 7 or higher, including a remarkable 29% at the top Grades 8 or 9. 91% of results were Grade 4 or above, and an impressive 82% of results were awarded a Grade 5 or higher.

Once again, JCoSS students have achieved results significantly above National, London and Barnet averages. These achievements reflect the hard work and determination of our young people, supported every step of the way by dedicated teachers and the encouragement of their families.

Alongside these outstanding individual performances, we are particularly proud of a number of students who have made exceptional progress and have significantly exceeded their individual GCSE targets. “Today is first and foremost a celebration of our students and everything they have achieved. All of us at JCoSS are immensely proud of these young people and of the commitment, resilience and determination they have shown throughout their GCSE journey.

I am also enormously grateful to our exceptional teachers whose passion, expertise and unwavering support have helped our students achieve so much. These results are a testament not only to the hard work of our young people, but also to the dedication of the staff who have encouraged, challenged and guided them throughout their time at JCoSS.

We are particularly delighted to celebrate those students who have achieved the very highest grades, alongside those whose progress has been exceptional and whose outcomes far exceeded their individual targets. At JCoSS, we believe that success comes in many forms and that every student who has worked hard, overcome challenges and exceeded expectations deserves to feel immensely proud today.

Our thanks also go to parents and families for the support, encouragement and belief they have shown throughout this journey. The partnership between students, staff and families is at the heart of everything we do and has played a vital role in today’s success.

We are thrilled to welcome many of our students back into the JCoSS Sixth Form in September and look forward to continuing to support them as they pursue their ambitions, grow in confidence and make their own unique contribution to our community. Today’s results are a powerful reflection of the strength of the JCoSS community and of what can be achieved when students, staff and families work together in partnership. Year 13 Results

JCoSS is delighted to celebrate the achievements of its Year 13 students following the publication of A Level and Cambridge Technical Vocational Qualification results.

This year’s cohort, the largest in the school’s history, has secured an impressive set of outcomes across a wide range of academic and vocational subjects. Students will now progress to universities, apprenticeships and other exciting next steps, reflecting the diversity of talents, ambitions and interests that characterise the JCoSS community.

A Level students achieved impressive results, with 73% of grades awarded at A*-B, including 46% at the very highest grades of A*/A. Students studying Cambridge Technical Vocational qualifications also performed exceptionally well, with 92% of grades awarded Distinction* or Distinction. Across all academic and vocational qualifications taken at JCoSS, 56% of grades were awarded at the highest levels of A*/A or Distinction*/Distinction, reflecting the breadth of achievement across this outstanding cohort.

“We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students and all that they have accomplished. This cohort has approached their studies with determination, maturity and a genuine commitment to making the most of every opportunity available to them.

Their achievements reflect years of hard work and perseverance, and it has been a privilege to see them grow not only as learners but also as young people who have contributed so much to the life of our school. We are delighted that so many students will now go on to study a wide range of subjects at university, including at Russell Group institutions, while others embark on apprenticeships and alternative pathways that will enable them to pursue their ambitions.

These results are also a reflection of the outstanding dedication of our staff, whose expertise, encouragement and care have supported students throughout their time at JCoSS. We are equally grateful to our families, whose partnership with the school plays such an important role in every young person’s success.

At JCoSS, we want our students not only to achieve highly but also to leave with a strong sense of who they are, the confidence to pursue their ambitions, and a deep commitment to the values of community, kindness and responsibility that sit at the heart of our school.
