Course Content

The one-year course is made up of two papers which will include the following topics:

  • Application of statistics
  • Probability
  • Linear programming
  • Sequences and growth

Assessment

The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Mathematics in Context consists of two externally examined papers.

First paper is 60 marks and takes 1 hour and 40 minutes

Second paper is 80 marks and takes 1 hour and 40 minutes

Expectations

Students must have at least grade 4 for GCSE and cannot do the course while doing A – level maths.
