  • If the student suffers from Asthma or Anaphylactic reactions, please bring a spare, named inhaler or epipen to Student Services on the first day of term. It is a parental responsibility to replace out of date inhalers/epipens. We are advised by the London Borough of Barnet Senior Medical Officer that when students need to take medicine 3 times a day this should be given as follows: 1) Before School 2) On return home 3) At bedtime. If you wish Student Services to store medicines for a student to self-medicate, please send in the medication with a signed letter. Prescription medicines require the student's name on a pharmacy label attached to the container.
  • If there are any special circumstances (e.g. family situations, friendships, difficulties), which you think the school should know about, please record them briefly here. (more details can be emailed to admissions@jcoss.barnet.sch.uk if needed)
  • Voluntary Contributions

Voluntary contributions are a critical part of the running costs of the school as they pay for the Jewish Ethos and Jewish Education that we provide – both the formal lessons and the huge range of other informal activities that students enjoy. They also contribute to the security infrastructure that ensures our students are kept safe in these troubling times. The contributions also supplement the money that comes in from the Government that allows us to provide an education in which students can flourish. Please read the Voluntary Contribution’s letter from Dr Lee, at the bottom of this form, explaining the importance of your donations and then indicate the amount you are able to donate. The direct debit mandate and gift aid declaration is also at the end of this form or under 'Admissions' on our website.
  • The suggested monthly rates are below. The different amounts depend on the rate of tax you pay – an illustration of the calculations is included in Dr Lee's Voluntary Contributions letter at the end of this form. If you pay higher rate tax and complete a tax return, you would receive further tax relief on your contribution. Therefore, we are asking you to consider making a higher contribution to us, which after tax relief is the same amount we are asking from a standard rate tax payer.
