JCoSS 10th Anniversary

The 10th Anniversary was celebrated by staff and students last month:  30 staff members who have been at JCoSS since the very beginning were honoured and given a beautiful olive tree and recognition certificate, and all staff and students were given a 10th Anniversary engraved water bottle kindly donated by the JCoSS Trustees.

Below is a letter from Stephen Moss, Chairman of the Trustees

Dear JCoSS Staff, Parents and Students

On behalf of the Trustees, I am delighted to be writing to you on the occasion of the JCoSS 10th Anniversary Year.

This is a wonderful and significant milestone in the school’s history. We are immensely proud of the achievements of the last 10 years and the incredible endeavours from staff, students and parents. Together, we have created a magnificent school: not only has it produced excellent academic outcomes, but more importantly, it is a community full of warmth which works together with the common purpose of building a future for our Jewish children. JCoSS stands as a beacon for the Jewish community and beyond.

The current situation has forced us to scale back our plans for a year of celebrations, but we wanted to mark this wonderful anniversary and thank the staff and students for everything you have done to reach this milestone with such passion and enthusiasm. This week every staff member and student will receive a special edition 10th Anniversary water bottle which has been donated by the JCoSS Trust. As well as being a memento of the school on its tenth birthday, it reflects the climate concerns of our times. We hope you like it and enjoy using it.

Thank you once again and we hope we can celebrate in JCoSS style at the earliest opportunity!

With very best wishes
Stephen Moss CBE
JCoSS Chair of the Trustees
