Year 10 Spanish, Art and Design & Technology Trip to Spain

Over 5 days, we visited numerous places throughout Spain allowing us to see all different aspects of Spanish culture. A highlight was the Flamenco show where we were able to see an interesting, traditional Spanish dance that many of us had never seen before. Another eye-opening and inspirational place we visited, especially for art students, was the Picasso exhibition. It helped us to expand our knowledge on Picasso and his unique artwork. Furthermore, we visited Alhambra Palace in Granada which was a really beautiful palace with intricate architecture allowing for amazing photographs. We were also given free time allowing students studying Spanish to practice the language with local Spanish people. The teachers were really fun and lively, making for a great atmosphere. Overall, the whole trip was a brilliant bonding experience and a great way to meet new peers. Despite the trip being education-based, everyone had so much fun and really enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend this trip to others who are thinking about going as it was a brilliantly organised and an unforgettable trip.
