Together We Remember: October 7th

We are incredibly proud of Deputy Headstudent Jonah, who has completed his Headstudent project, Together We Remember: October 7th.

Jonah organised and planned educational lessons to eight Year 11 classes, giving students the opportunity to learn about individual victims of October 7th and their stories. These lessons culminated in a commemorative art installation in the Heartspace, featuring students’ personal reflections on the lives they had explored.

Working in partnership with StandWithUs, Jonah also organised for October 7th survivors Ariel and Shani to visit JCoSS and share their experiences with our Sixth Form students and staff.

Through his initiative and dedication, Jonah created meaningful opportunities for our school community to learn, reflect and remember, ensuring that the individual stories and lives behind October 7th were not forgotten.

We are so proud of Jonah for the thought, sensitivity and commitment he has brought to this important project, and for the positive impact he has made on our school community.
