JCoSS hosted its annual Higher Education day today as part of our ongoing 6th form destinations programme. We were joined by a range of speakers including the University of Oxford, Birmingham and Nottingham Trent University as well as Resource. Sessions covered a variety of topics such as the application process, apprenticeships, student finance, choosing a university and interview skills. A gap year fair also took place and optional sessions were run for students interested in the Oxbridge route as well as a portfolio workshop for those applying to Art Foundations or other design-based degrees. Our alumni are now forming an integral part of this programme as we follow their journeys and they share their successes with us.
