We are thrilled to have launched the Duke of Edinburgh Award at JCoSS. Year 9 students have the chance to get involved in this exciting and unique volunteering opportunity through the JLGB, the only exclusively Jewish licensed organisation for the scheme.

By taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award students develop skills for life and work. There’s a wide range of opportunities in each section to suit their interests. The award is packed with great fun activities; it will provide them with fantastic achievements and memorable experiences and is recognised by employers and universities! Perhaps the highlight of this award is the two-day expedition trip, their chance to camp overnight and enjoy the outdoors.
