Nova Survivor Event
Last night, JCoSS was privileged to welcome Nova survivor and former hostage Maxim Herkin for an incredibly moving and powerful evening.
Hosted by Lisa Ronson, Trustee of The Gerald and Gail Ronson Family Foundation, and Rabbi Vadim Blumin, Head of the JAFI delegation in the UK, the event brought together more than 120 members of our community to hear Maxim speak about the horrific events of 7th October and his experience of being held hostage in Gaza. His courage in sharing his story and the honesty and resilience with which he spoke, left a deep impact on everyone in the room.
We are so grateful to Maxim for being with us and for sharing his testimony so openly. Thank you also to Lisa and Rabbi Vadim for hosting and to all those who joined us for such an important evening of remembrance, reflection and solidarity.
