We are delighted to invite you to our 6th Form Virtual Open Evening on Wednesday 4th November 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Due to current restrictions we are unable to hold the event in school, but we have recreated the essence of the evening virtually, so that parents and students can get the same benefit and information from it as ever. We hope that you will enjoy the evening and be able to make informed decisions about our 6th form provision and the wide range of A Level and vocational subjects on offer.
The evening will be in 3 sections:
Section 1: a pre-recorded presentation from our Headteacher, Patrick Moriarty and Head of Key Stage 5, Jonathan Lorrimer, followed by a short video tour of the school and 6th form areas.
Section 2: a live Q&A session with a panel of staff and current 6th form students, where you will be able to ask general questions about the 6th form and the school.
Section 3: an opportunity to ask subject teachers specific questions about the course you are interested in. This will run using Zoom Breakout Rooms which can only be accessed using the most up to date version of Zoom. It is essential that Zoom Client for meetings Version 5.3.0 or higher is downloaded onto your device: without it, you will not be able to access this part of the event.
