We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a Music Teacher to join our dynamic Expressive Arts Faculty and we look forward to hearing from you.

This Role: We need a dynamic and well qualified musician to join our team of staff in the Expressive Arts Faculty, which incorporates both Music and Drama. The Faculty is built on a foundation of positive collaboration to create an offer, which is exciting, diverse and challenging.  We are committed to enabling students to thrive and grow both as performers and in academic study. Music has a high profile and excellent outcomes at JCoSS: it is offered to both GCSE and A Level, and in the 6th Form we also offer Music Technology.  The Department and the Faculty also make a big commitment to the Ethos and life of the school, through a wide range of extra-curricular activities and performances, both staff and student-led, which take place throughout the year.

The School places a high value on the opportunities that Music and Drama present, in and out of the classroom, to build personal qualities, encourage self-expression and build teamwork. If you are an enthusiastic teacher of Music who can share this vision, we would love you to join us.  The post is suitable for newly qualified or experienced teachers, and the potential to teach GCSE and A Level exists for the right candidate. Experience in teaching Music and/or Music Technology A Level would be an advantage.
