This Role: We need a creative and energetic teacher of Jewish Education, a subject that sits within our outward-looking, pluralist Jewish Education Faculty.  In particular, we seek a colleague who can teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.  Jewish Education is a core subject within the school and students throughout Years 7-11 have 5 hours of teaching over a fortnight. There is a developed and innovative curriculum, including a World Faiths element, in all years of Key Stage 3 and 4.

The Jewish Education team is both intellectually lively and pedagogically alert, regularly achieving high value-added scores at both GCSE and A level.  We aim to combine the best of pluralist Jewish teaching with an award-winning interfaith commitment to support students in developing their identities as Jews in the modern world.  The Faculty comprises both formal and informal educators and enjoys a highly respected, central role in the life of the school and in the experience of students, aided by residential and day trips, vibrant whole school activities, social action and leadership training.
