Deputy Site Manager

Salary: NJC salary scale 8-12 £28,272 – £30,033

Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Usual working hours are 11am-7pm, with flexibility on both sides.

Required for: as soon as possible

This Role: JCoSS are seeking a deputy site manager and this is an exciting opportunity to join a high achieving and welcoming school. The role is to carry out day to day maintenance duties and to deputise for the Site Manager in his absence. It is essential that the safest possible environment is achieved and maintained for pupils, staff and visitors and that the building is kept in an excellent state of repair.  The role is varied and interesting and detailed in the job description.  The school are looking for flexibility, supervisory skills, practical skills, organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.  The post requires the successful candidate to work a regular 11:00-19:00 shift within the normal site opening times of 7:00-19:00 with flexibility on both sides (plus additional hours when needed including some weekend opportunities). This post will be on a local government NJC scale and you will be eligible for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).  We are a Jewish faith school but we embrace diversity and welcome applications from all faiths and beliefs.
